The control system features a two-channel setup. Channel 1 manages the color adjustment for white, red, and green LEDs, while Channel 2 controls the adjustment of blue light. Both channels can be independently adjusted for brightness and setting time using dedicated buttons. After setup, the two channels operate autonomously without interference.

If, at any time, you need to illuminate your aquarium, simply pressing the power button will instantly activate your light, providing you with 100% brightness. Whether you're seeking bright daylight or gentle moonlight, the power button makes it easy to achieve the desired light mode with just a simple press.

The 665 nm red LEDs support both Chlorophyll A and B, while the 450 nm blue LEDs cater to the needs of both Chlorophyll A and B. The green LEDs help balance ecosystems and enhance aesthetics. The light will provide a more visually pleasing and comfortable environment for your tank, with a high CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 91, simulating natural light and providing true color representation.

To decrease the growth of algae, it is recommended to keep water changes at about 15 – 20% every other week, remove nitrates (the primary food source for algae), and keep lights on 8-10 hours per day for planted aquariums. Additionally, locating the aquarium away from direct sunlight can discourage algae growth.

The lightweight and durable aluminum alloy shell incorporates structured heat dissipation grooves to increase surface area, enhancing heat transfer efficiency and extending the lifetime of the LEDs. The adjustable brackets help mount the light directly above the water surface, providing better light penetration and efficiency.

The ClassicLED Plus 18'' model comes in various wattage and LED configurations, ranging from 13W to 15W and 48 to 108 total LEDs, with luminous outputs from 780 lm to 1400 lm, and LUX and PAR values suitable for a wide range of aquarium sizes and light requirements. The models can operate in either single or dual mode, with cable lengths between 7.4 ft and 10 ft.
