To ensure the heater's normal function and safety, it should be fully submerged in water. The water temperature can be easily affected by the room temperature, which may result in a difference of ±3°F.

For the heater to work more efficiently, it should be used in a circulating water tank, as still water can cause the temperature in the heater's area to be higher than other parts of the tank.

This heater is maintenance-free. However, we suggest the following to maintain its good function and longevity: - Check the heater's working status regularly and unplug it immediately if you notice any unusual signs. - Clean the heater's suction cups regularly (every 3 months) with warm water (140°F) and soak them for a while. - If you find any soil or moss covering the heater, unplug it, let it cool for a few minutes, and then clean it with fresh water, especially the heating part. - Do not use any other liquid to clean the heater, as it may damage the device.

This 25W heater is suitable for tanks under 6 gallons. It operates on 110-120V/60Hz voltage and has a cable length of 3.9 feet. The package includes the aquarium heater, a sticker thermometer, and a suction cup.

Please ensure the heater is fully submerged in water and installed on the tank's inner side or bottom. Do not expose the heater head or body, and add water regularly.
