QUIET & EFFICIENT: The Cascade 170 Submersible Filter ensures a peaceful environment in your aquarium by delivering crystal clear water silently. Designed for tanks up to 10 gallons, it efficiently cycles water at 45 GPH, making it ideal for freshwater and nano aquariums, as well as terrarium setups.

ACCOMMODATING: With an adjustable flow switch, you can easily increase or decrease water flow as needed, particularly during feeding times. The directional flow nozzle adds further customization and convenience. Additionally, the filter uses 4 suction cups, enabling both vertical and horizontal mounting positions.

FULLY SUBMERSIBLE: The Cascade 170 includes a small, internal Bio-Sponge optimized for anaerobic bacteria colonization and mechanical filtration of large particulate matter. Accessing the Bio-Sponge may require disassembly, but replacement sponges are available (Model #: CIF4FI). For more tailored filtration, the internal media chamber can be customized with other filter media.

VENTURI AERATION: The Cascade 170 incorporates Venturi Aeration, providing your tank with filtered, oxygenated water without the need for an air pump. This dual-function design simplifies setup; simply connect the Air Tube and Air Muffler to the Flow Nozzle and follow the included instructions. Ensure the filter is fully submerged and filled with water before use.
