Aquarium Heater for Small Fish Tanks (1-8 gallons)

This 110V-120V/60HZ submersible aquarium heater comes with a 5-foot power cord and a US standard plug, suitable for use in the US, Canada, and Mexico. The heater has a normal working accuracy of ±2°F, but its efficiency can be influenced by the tank size or ambient temperature.

If you have a small fish tank or the tank is located in a high ambient temperature room, it is recommended to preset the heater temperature lower than your desired temperature. Conversely, if you have a large fish tank or the tank is in a low ambient temperature room, preset the heater temperature higher than your desired temperature.

In either case, it is advisable to monitor the water temperature changes and adjust the settings accordingly, especially if this is your first time using the heater, to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for your fish.

To use the heater, first turn the red button on the top to adjust the temperature as needed. The red number displayed in the round circle indicates the set temperature. Next, place the heater upright in the water, allowing the suction cup to adhere to the tank wall for full submersion. Finally, plug the heater into the power socket.

Depending on the tank size and environmental temperature, it may take a few hours for the water to reach the set temperature. Please be patient. When turning off the heater, unplug it before removing it from the water to avoid dry heating. Unplug the heater 10 minutes before performing water changes.

The heater is designed for intermittent heating, operating for 5 minutes and then stopping for 2 minutes (indicated by the light turning off) to maintain accurate water temperature and a comfortable environment for the fish. Do not worry when the heater stops and the light goes out - it will automatically restart heating after 2-3 minutes.

Regular maintenance is recommended, including checking the heater's working status and cleaning the suction cups every 3 months with warm water. If any soil or moss accumulates on the heater, unplug it, allow it to cool for 10 minutes, and then clean it with fresh water, taking care not to use any other liquids that may damage the heater.

Always ensure the heater is fully submerged in water, and install it near the water flow or with a suitable water pump to facilitate heat diffusion. Avoid putting your hands in the water while the heater is operating to prevent electric shock or burns, and never expose the heater above the water, as this can cause the glass and other parts to break.
