The Cascade 20 Mini Power Hang-On Filter, presented by Penn-Plax, quietly delivers crystal clear water and pushes water at 20 Gallons per Hour (GPH) for tanks up to 7 Gallons in size. This filter is suitable for both Freshwater and Saltwater aquariums.

The adjustable flow knob allows for increased or decreased water flow, which is extremely helpful during feeding times or when needed. The hang-on design is constructed for safe mounting, and the lift tube, with a provided extension piece, measures between 5" (min) and 6 1/2" (max).

This Cascade filter utilizes disposable, double-sided media cartridges containing Activated Carbon and Poly Fiber Floss. The included cartridge traps floating particulate matter, removes harmful chemicals and toxins, clears up discolorations, and reduces foul odors from the aquarium's water. It is recommended to change these disposable filters once a month.

Before turning the filter on, it is crucial to pour enough water to completely immerse the impeller cover. Never run the filter dry.
